The SJIT Library will be the heart for intellectual pursuits for total human development of empowered individuals and become world-class graduates of the digital age.

 

Mission

 

It is the duty of the Library to work with the mission of the institution in nation and capability building by providing bibliographical and intellectual access to recorded knowledge, and information consistent with the present and anticipated teaching, research responsibility and social concerns of the academic community. 

 

Objectives

 

👉 Build collection based on curriculum and research needs of the clientele 

👉 Encourage maximum utilization of available resources 

👉 Enhance the use of information technology through digital resource utilization 

👉 Provide lifelong learning through instruction for advance research and information skills 

👉 Establish linkages with other libraries and information institutions 

👉 Sustain effective application of library systems and procedures responsive to the need of the students in all level.
